Caja Navarra customers have thousands of social work projects to choose from as part of the ‘You choose: you decide’ initiative. These projects are sorted by activity and the general activities are then listed within one of the main lines of social action. You can choose up to a total of three specific projects, general activities or lines of action. And you can change your mind as often as you wish up until the 31st of December, the date on which one year’s options make way for the new ones for the coming year.

First of all, you can consult the main lines of social action to choose from on this Web site ('Disabilities and Care’, 'Research', 'The Environment', 'Culture', 'Cooperation'; 'Welfare, Sport and Leisure'; 'Employment and Entrepreneurship’ and 'Heritage Conservation'). You can then take a look at the activities listed as part of each of these lines of action and, finally, the specific projects which each activity includes. There is also abundant information about all the options you can choose.

The general budget of each project and the amount it has requested from Caja Navarra customers to execute work are both stated. When your decisions and those of other customers mean that 100% of the amount requested by the project has been covered, then it is closed and not eligible for further contributions. When a project or a general activity has been chosen beyond its requirements, then the excess support received is distributed proportionally among all the projects belonging to the relevant line of action.

At the end of each financial year, customers are informed about the results of their choices and the organisations behind the proposals included in ‘You choose: you decide’ are informed as to the sum contributed by customers for project executed. If an organisation rejects the amount allocated by Can customers, then it is passed on to next year's social investment.

After looking at the information about all the options you can choose from and deciding which ones you wish to support, you have to assign a specific percentage of the profit made from the money you have in Can to each. You also have to indicate your favourite option (this choice will then be reflected in the design of your Caja Navarra savings books and cards). The percentage must always be a multiple of ten. e.g. you can assign 50% to the line of action ‘Disability and Care’, 30%• to a specific project from ‘Heritage Conservation' and the remaining 20% to ‘Exhibitions’, an activity in the ‘Culture’ line.If you wish, you can assign 100% of the profit to a single line, activity or project.
