• What forms do I need to fill in to contract CAN Health insurance?
  The Policyholder has to fill in and sign the Insurance Application form and each of the insured parties has to fill in and sign the Health Questionnaire.
• What happens if the health questionnaire reveals that I suffer from an illness or complaint?
  If the Health Questionnaire reveals a condition which means that you cannot be insured straight away, then the condition shall be appraised and, in the event, the risk shall either be accepted or rejected. Of course, this delays the normal insuring process.
• What documents will I receive on contracting CAN Health insurance?
  Once the policy has been issued, you will receive a folder with the General Conditions, the Specific Conditions –one of the copies of which must be signed and returned to the policyholder-, the provincial Medical Network and information about the telephone assistance system. The health cards of each Insured party will also be sent.
• When will I have to pay the premiums?
  You start paying premiums as soon as the policy is issued. You then pay monthly premiums on the first day of each month from then on.
• Is the health card valid for any of the insured parties?
  No. The health card is a personal, non-transferable document which identifies the Insured party.
• How do I access the medical services of CAN Health insurance?
  By calling the doctor in the Medical Network and asking for an appointment.
