Secure on-line payment (also known as Vini) ) is the virtual assistant which helps you operate and make purchases on-line by performing four important functions:
1. It memorises your personal details
to help you fill in forms
Secure payment/Vini memorises your personal data, account and card numbers, user name, passwords, etc. Your data is protected in a secure server and only you can access it. You can modify it, delete it, extend it and give it an alias. Vini keeps it all perfectly organised and ready for use.
Thanks to Vini, you will not have to remember or keep all your details on you. You won’t have to type them in every time you make a purchase on-line either.
2. Secure payment/vini pays for you
providing maximum security and confidentiality
If you do not want your card number to travel over the Internet, then Vini gives you one. All you have to do is indicate which real card you wish to pay with. The assistant will then give you a virtual card number, which it generates itself, that you can use on the trading form where you are making the purchase instead of your own. This number only works for the operation in question and at the specific time of the operation. Any attempt to use it for another purchase will be automatically rejected.
When the trader requests payment, Vini charges it to your real card, but your number is not exposed on-line, not at the trader's or anywhere else. It’s as easy and secure as that.
3. It monitors your payments
informing you of on-line card use and even preventing it
It also offers you optional services related to on-line payment operations:
- it allows you to consult all operations performed through the system.
- it prevents your real card from being used on-line without its help. Thanks to this system, your card can only be used on-line when you use it through the “Secure on-line payment pays for you” option.
- it informs you when a purchase is made on-line using your card via a text message on your mobile or an e-mail.
4. Visa-MasterCard secure payment
with the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified By Visa systems
At traders identified as highly secure (with the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa logos), you can use the details of your real card to pay (the ones on the plastic).
When you have completed the purchase at the trader’s Web site, Caja Navarra will open a floating window in which you must follow the instructions to identify yourself before Caja Navarra and authorise the payment.
Caja Navarra will not approve payment until you have identified yourself with your Clavenet password.
