Account: "elección"
This is a current account which allows you to pay your bills by direct debit, withdraw cash, use credit cards, update your balance in cashpoint machines, at branch offices or by internet… and also allows you to choose what you would like to see funded with the money in your account.:
- New residents: these are personal or mortgage loans given to people coming from other countries and who need help to organise their lives here.
- Organisations with ‘You choose: you decide’ projects, la CAN’s social project work: loans to non-profit organisations working partly or wholly in the social sphere.
- Subsidised housing: loans to fund subsidised housing for people with less purchasing power.
- Young people: loans to a group of people who need more support to become independent so that they can enter the housing market and purchase consumer goods (vehicles, education, technology, etc.).
- The environment and clean energies: funding clean energies and activities which contribute to preserving the environment and sustainable growth (more specifically, recycling, waste collection and treatment, solar energy production and wind power).
- Training and employment: funding initiatives to create jobs and promote training.
- Entrepreneurs and innovation: funding entrepreneurial products, through products specifically designed for entrepreneurs, and new technology and R&D projects.
- Family services and aid: loans to fund specific needs (adoption expenses, large families, reverse mortgages, work-life balance, etc.) and the provision of services (nurseries, home help, care for older people, etc.).
