Your CAN card now comes with new technology called EMV chip (Chip and PIN) technology. This system makes your card safer because the PIN number has to be marked each time it is used. That means that only you can use it.
And, as it is an intelligent card, the project you choose as part of "You choose: you decide" can be printed on it if you like. All you have to do is say so when choosing your projects!
This MasterCard/Euro 6000 card allows you to make purchases in the high street, by telephone or on-line as if you were paying in cash.
The purchases you make with it are directly debited from your account or settlement can be automatically delayed for a few days at no extra cost.

The Can card allows you to:
- Make high-street purchases.

Buy tickets for shows and events on-line or by telephone.

Withdraw cash from banks.
- Use cashpoint machines:
- Withdraw cash.
- Pay money into accounts (cash / cheques).
- Ask for balances and reports.
- Top up mobile phone credit.
- Top up prepaid cards.
And you also get the following insurance:
- Policy covering €50,000 in the event of death as the result of an accident on a journey paid for using the card.
- Insurance against fraudulent use and robbery in cashpoint machines without deductible (coverage from first €).
- Travel insurance
