If you are a wine lover, then we have the perfect card for you because we have designed the MasterCard DOC Rioja in collaboration with the Control Board of the Qualified Designation of Origin of Rioja Wine (DOC Rioja).


Depending where it is used, it works either as a debit or a credit card.
It works as a debit card in cashpoint machines because all the operations performed are automatically debited from your account free of charge.

It works as a credit card when used for high-street operations because payment for purchases is postponed until the first day of the next month.

The DOC Rioja card allows you to:

• Make high-street purchases.
• Buy tickets for shows and events on-line or by telephone.
• Withdraw cash from branch offices.
• Use cashpoint machines:
  • Withdraw cash.
  • Pay money into accounts (cash / cheques).
  • Ask for balances and reports.
  • Top up mobile phone credit.
  • Top up prepaid cards.

And you also get the following insurance:

• Policy covering €300,000 in the event of death as the result of an accident on a journey paid for using the card.
• Insurance against fraudulent use and robbery in cashpoint machines without deductible (coverage from first €).
• Travel insurance.
