We want to be the favourite bank of women, both as customers and professionals. That is why we have decided to create the mechanisms needed to attract women and set up a structure in which women are present in all fields and at all levels of the bank.
We have taken it upon ourselves to review all our external and internal practices in order to guarantee equal opportunities. We are also developing internal policies aimed at promoting diversity (in terms not only of gender, but also social and cultural diversity) as a fundamental value of our professional team.
To get work under way, we asked 800 female customers and 100 female employees in order to discover our main difficulties, shortfalls and imbalances. We also looked into how countries in the north of Europe which lead the field in addressing Equality went about things.
