The Boards of Caja Navarra, CajaCanarias and Caja de Burgos have now approved the creation of the Civic Banking Group

The Board of Caja de Burgos approved joining the Civic Banking Group this afternoon

This means that the three savings banks comprising the group have now all approved the operation at Board of Directors level. The next step is approval at their General Assemblies (General Board in the case of Caja Navarra), which will be the definitive go-ahead from the banks. The General Board of Caja Navarra will meet on the 12th of this month, the Assembly of CajaCanarias on the 25th of March and the Assembly of Caja de Burgos on the 27th. Then all that is needed are the necessary administrative authorisations and the group will be a fact.

Caja Segovia and Caja de Ávila

This morning, the Boards of Caja Segovia and Caja de Ávila agreed to sign the protocol of intent which means starting the work, studies and negotiations required to join the Civic Banking Group.
